We're going in a few weeks to see the monarchs but also want to get some birding in.
NicoleAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3777594818854642025.post-78514224907622708412010-12-22T07:26:59.417-08:002010-12-22T07:26:59.417-08:00Hi,alpinelakes. Funny to see all the Rosario visitors in Angangueo still wearing their dust masks like merit badges. And covered from head to toe in road dust. The road from the Chincua reserve to Angangueo is quite a fine walk itself. I walked both ways- the return is all downhill, and there's very little traffic most of the time.

Thanks for your awesome site! It's a fabulous resource, and I'd like to link to it from my Coast of Michoacán website. I walked the coast a few years back and I'm making a site for backpackers with maps and trail info. You might find it useful for accessing some of the more remote spots on the coast...

http://home.comcast.net/~alpinelakes//Coast_of_Michoacan/

cheers, alpinelakesalpinelakeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05879871135282051994noreply@blogger.com
